ALBANY, NY — Pioneer recently announced the appointment of Thomas Signor as executive vice president and chief administrative officer. In this role, he will oversee all banking operations, including retail deposit and lending operations, compliance, risk, information technology, security and facilities management.
Prior to joining Pioneer, Signor spent 16 years at Kinderhook Bank, rising from internal auditor to executive vice president and chief operating officer. In this role, he provided oversight and management of Operations, Retail Lending, IT, Compliance, Electronic Banking and Facilities. In addition, he was a bank secrecy officer; supervised the construction and fitting out of five new bank branches; researched, recommended and implemented new technology offerings for customers and employees; and developed and led the integration process for the bank’s acquisition of Patriot Federal Bank.

A chartered CPA, Signor was previously a shareholder in the accounting firm Pattison, Koskey, Rath & Florio, PC of Valatie, New York, where he managed internal audits for community banking clients. He also served as Chief Compliance Officer for Paradigm Capital Management and, most recently, Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for National Bank of Coxsackie.
